Cellphones
Cell phones are parts of human activity, people can’t live without it. Most people have their favorite phone. My three favorite cell phones are Nokia’s N95, Motorola’s V8 and Apple’s iPhone4, which are from three most powerful cell phone companies. I’m going to talk about the differences and similarities of their style, reliability and price.
Style is the most important thing when I’m looking for a phone. I have to say all of these three phones are beautiful. If I have to choose a coolest one; I will chose V8. V8 only have black and gold, and it’s about 103 x 53 x 11.9 mm; the weight is about 110g. It’s the biggest among three of them, but it’s the lightest. If you are looking for a light cell phone, then I don’t recommend N95. V8 has a touch screen; as same as iPhone4, but it’s different from N95. They all have camera in it, and iPhone4 has two: a small one of the front, and another one of the back. V8 looks like a big shell, and it even feel likes a shell. N95 has nothing special, only just a normal looks. IPhone4 has a pretty cool style: there is a big touch screen of the front, but it didn’t change anything from the other I phones.
The second factor is the reliability. I think more people care about cell phones’ reliability. Reliability is important for costumers. A poor reliability cell phone could affect people’s life in the bad way. Well, things always have Gains and losses. The coolest one, V8, has the poorest reliability. Sometimes V8 could crash without a reason. That will not happen on N95 or iPhone4. Personally I more like Iphone4 the best because the reaction speed is very good, and it is the best among them. At this side N95 is better than V8 but not good enough. Iphone4 has a most high-quality camera. HD screen and support 3G. It’s very good and useful.
It’s pretty clear that iPhone4 is the most expensive one. It cost 600 dollars for a basic one. If you ask for a 32GB memory version Iphone4; it will charge you 100 dollars more. The other two are much easier. V8 costs 170 dollars, which I think is unfair, and N95 costs 120 dollars. Both V8 and N95 have 8GB memory version, and they charge about 70 dollars more. Actually I’m not suggesting buy an 8 GB memory version N95 or V8 because they are not like I phones which can save songs and movies or some large size of important information in it, and it’s not benefit.
I like N95 more than V8. Motorola is focus on the style, and Nokia is focus on the integrate quality I think. Compares to these three phones, I like iPhone4 the best. I recommend use Nokia’s products because Nokia’s cell phone’s integrate quality is good, and the price is acceptable. But if you are looking for a really good quality one, I suggest Iphone4. I like Iphone4 the most. I have been using it for half a year, and there was a few problems come up, but the after sale service is good. The other two are good, but not perfect. Iphone4 is the forth version of I phone right now, and it’s not complete finish yet; it will get improve.

How to Make Chaofan
Chaofan is a classic Chinese comfort dish. It is a very famous meal in China; it originated in
the city of Yangzhou. It’s easy to make and tastes good. Sometimes when I’m hungry and too
lazy to make something else, I always make chaofan instead of eating out. The steps to cook
Chaofan are preparation, cooking, and transfer.
The first and most important step is preparation. You need two green onions, finely
chopped, two large eggs, one of teaspoon salt, pepper to taste, three tablespoons of oil for stir frying, or as needed, four cups of previously cooked rice, and one-two of tablespoons light soy sauce or oyster sauce as desired. Those are the basic things. You can add pork, seafood, or vegetables, and it will taste better. But I’m going to tell you how to make the easiest and basic way. This step is the most important because there are so many ingredients; it takes time to collect them all. But trust me, when you have done this step, you have almost done the dish. It becomes much easier.
Second, in a small bowl, beat the eggs with a fork or chopsticks until they are frothy. Heat a
frying pan and add a tablespoons of oil, swirling so that the bottom of the pan is coated. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium. Cook the eggs, stirring, until they are scrambled. Add one tablespoon of oil, swirling it, so that the bottom of the pan is coated. Add the rice. Stirfry for two-three minutes until the rice is all heated. Traditionally, the Chinese do not add soy sauce to rice. But you can add soy sauce if you like. After that, add the chopped onions and stirfry to heat everything through. now all you have to do is swirl the ingredients for about four minutes to prevent them from not getting burned. After four minutes, the chaofan is done, and you can try it first to see if you need more salt or not. Be careful to not add too much salt, because if you do, it will taste terrible.
The last step is very easy. Now, all you have to do is turn off the heat, remove the pan from the stove, and transfer it into the plate carefully. I usually add some vegetables on the side; it makes it look nicer and tastes better. It’s better if you have it with a drink and one of your favorite dishes like chicken or pork.
It’s all done now, so to begin to enjoy your meal, you need a spoon or chopsticks. It is a very good choice for one or two people to eat it at home. But if there are more than two people, make some other Chinese dishes with chaofan and it will be the best.

How to Learn Mathematics
A lot of people think math is a very tricky thing. In fact, it is true. Learning math is like learning another language, so hard at first, but getting progressively easier. There are so many concepts that are related and have to be remembered in mathematics, and they can also get easily confused, but the important thing is not to give up. Math will give you a hard time at the beginning; it’s ok because it wouldn’t last long. I would like to share some easy ways that I followed to get better when I got started: don’t be afraid to ask, work on math every day, and review it. I’m sure these steps can help you get better at math.
Math is quite a different subject from the others. It not just something you need to remember; there are lots of thinking. The most sticking difference is when you work it out; congratulations, you get full marks, but if not, you get none. The point is you should never be afraid to ask. When you get stuck, it takes so much more time to figure it out by your own, and the results are the same. Never just leave it behind when you can’t figure it out; you will never know the solution until it comes to you again, and that time will be on the test, so why not take a few minutes to ask someone instead of regretting it after the test. I suggest try to find a tutor because they love to help you out and are so much better than your classmates.
Create a learning time, working on math every day. As I said, math is not just something to remember; it’s something to understand. Let’s take an example here, one math question. There is only one solution, what if the teacher set up a different question and you can only solve it with the same solution. Will you suddenly see the light and work it out? All I’m trying to say is to be familiar with all kind of questions. It is kind of hard, but I believe that if you spend 20 minutes on math exercises of what we learn every day, math will be a piece of cake for you.
Actually review is important for all kinds of subjects. Why I mention it here because it’s more important in math. There is a big different between if you did you review or not. After you review math, you know much more than you thought you should know. That’s the difference between math and other subjects. Sometimes during the test, there is a question that you can work it out, but it is so familiar and you are sure you saw it before. I have been there several times, and that feels not good; it makes me want to kill myself. That’s the difference whether you review or not, full scores or zero. Also there are so many concepts and facts in math that sometimes you may mix up, so taking a review will definitively help a lot.
To sum up, math is not easy, but it is not hard either. Don’t feel bad when it turns you down. Work harder, and you will find it much more interesting than you ever thought. Trusting yourself is important as well. When you have doubts with something sometimes, go your own way; whether you are right or wrong all help you.
